Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to all RNs who are either in leadership positions or aspire to be leaders in their chosen specialization. Our current membership includes nurses from many settings – inpatient care, community and public health, nurse managers and administrators, chief nursing officers, nurse lawyers, nurse educators and many others.
Your Benefits as a VONL Member
As a VONL member, you will enjoy collaborating with other nursing professionals on initiatives that have an influential voice in the nursing profession in Vermont.
VONL provides, to all its members:

Additional VONL Leadership Opportunities
Nurses interested in leadership roles within VONL are encouraged to increase their level of active participation by serving as officers or committee members.
Biannual 2 year term elections are held for president, secretary and treasurer.
Committee members. All VONL members are invited to join the nominating, public policy, membership, education, public relations/communications and ad hoc committees that suit their special talents and interests. Chairs of active committees are also members of the VONL executive committee.
